Psychotherapy in Vienna in English

Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious or stuck in your current situation?

Sometimes it is hard to clearly name what is wrong – but there is a sense that something is no longer working. Daily life continues, yet internally there is pressure, restlessness or exhaustion.

In my psychotherapy practice in Vienna (20th district), I offer a calm and confidential space where you can take a step back, talk openly and begin to understand what is going on. I work with adults, adolescents and couples.

Psychotherapy for expats in Vienna

Living in a different country can bring its own challenges – even when things seem to be working on the outside.
Being far from familiar surroundings, navigating a different culture or language, or dealing with changes in work and relationships can create a sense of pressure, uncertainty or disconnection.
Psychotherapy can offer a space to reflect on these experiences and to better understand what is currently difficult – in a way that feels clear, calm and supportive.

When can psychotherapy be helpful?

Psychotherapy can help when your inner balance starts to shift – due to stress, anxiety, burnout or ongoing emotional strain. Often there is not a single clear reason.
Instead, there is a growing sense that something is not quite right – inner tension, exhaustion or the feeling of being stuck.

You might be experiencing:

Sometimes it’s just a sense that something isn’t right – and that is enough.
Psychotherapy can be a space to understand what is going on and to find ways of dealing with it that feel right for you.

How I work

I work with a person-centred approach. This means that you are at the centre of the process – with your experiences, your perspective and your needs. My role is to listen carefully and to support you in understanding your situation more clearly.

There are no predefined solutions. We work at your pace and focus on what feels right and helpful for you.

Sessions can take place in English, and also in German or Polish if needed.

What to expect

Sessions usually take place once a week or every two weeks in my practice in the 20th district of Vienna. They last 50 minutes. In some situations, online sessions are also possible.

Everything you share is confidential.

Fee for sessions: 80 €
This also applies to the initial consultation.

Psychotherapy in Austria is usually paid privately.
As I am currently in training under supervision, sessions are not reimbursed by public health insurance. Therefore, I offer a reduced fee.

The first step is offen not easy – but it can open the door to meaningful change.

If you are considering starting psychotherapy, an initial consultation is a good opportunity to get a sense of whether this feels right for you.
